Queensland Health is responsible for the administration and operation of the state’s public health care system and is one of its biggest employers. Allied Health is a branch of Queensland Health with 20000 staff spanning 15 districts.
Allied Health required a system to provide training and professional development to its staff in the 15 health districts and in over a 150 hospitals and health centres throughout QLD. The system required the inclusion of organisational and positional hierarchies as well as the tracking and reporting of key competencies. My Learning Space provides the solution through the Totara learning management system. We provide ongoing support to key Allied Health staff in the effective use of the system by delivering training and support services.
The outcome is that Queensland Health is able to provide training and development to its staff throughout Queensland without geographical or time barriers.
