Totara’s roadmap identifies big picture features and enhancements that are planned for future software development. The roadmap is constantly reviewed in consultation with Totara Partners and Subscribers.
Totara is a distribution of Moodle designed specifically for the requirements of the corporate, government and vocational training sectors.
Totara will soon be adopting a new numbering system for software releases to make it consistent with the Moodle versioning convention. This will make it easier to understand the alignment between Totara and Moodle.
Totara 2.2 is due for release shortly and will include all Totara 1.1 features and an upgrade of the underlying codebase to Moodle 2.2.
Totara features scheduled for the 2.3 release later this year include audience management, improvements to program management and improvements to the face-to-face module.
Other noteworthy features listed on the road map include an appraisal process component, gap analysis and 360 degree feedback tool.
