At the recent iMoot 2013 international conference, Moodle founder and lead developer, Martin Dougiamas, shared his vision for the Moodle learning management system software.
An open, yet private, platform that:
- can be used easily for free from any device;
- provides the most flexible toolset;
- supports teachers with their teaching;
- supports learners with their learning;
- scaleable to any size needed;
- allows anyone to contribute to education globally.
It is an inspiring vision that highlights our educational philosophy:
Learning should be open, connected and flexible. Learning deserves to be available to anyone, at anytime, from anywhere, about anything.
