Ergon Energy

Ergon Energy is a Queensland Government owned corporation, providing electricity related services to 650,000 customers across Queensland. Its electricity network consists of 150,000 kilometres of powerlines and one million power poles, along with associated infrastructure such as major substations and power transformers. They also own and operate 33 stand-alone power stations that provide supply to isolated communities.

MyLearningSpace is responsible for training course developers, site managers and learning administrators to effectively use their learning management system. Interactive workshops were conducted with key Ergon staff who learned about facilitating web-based courses for its employees, interactive content design, collaboration tools, online assessment, grading and feedback.

The outcome for Ergon is key staff who can competently use a web-based LMS to enhance the delivery of technical training and development, thereby optimising the achievement of organisational goals.
